Note: The number of vacancies is tentative and may change based on requirements. If suitable ESM candidates are unavailable, the reserved vacancies will be filled by non-ESM candidates of the respective categories.

  1. Pay Scale:
  • Sepoy in NCB: Pay Level-1 (₹18,000 – ₹56,900)
  • All other posts (Constable, Rifleman): Pay Level-3 (₹21,700 – ₹69,100)
  1. Eligibility Criteria:
  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th) from a recognized board by 01 January 2025.
  • Age Limit: 18 to 23 years as of 01 January 2025 (Born between 02 January 2002 and 01 January 2007). ESM candidates receive 3 years of age relaxation beyond the upper age limit, after deducting the military service rendered.
  1. Selection Process:

The recruitment process involves multiple stages:

  1. Computer-Based Examination (CBE): Objective-type paper with multiple-choice questions.
  2. Physical Standard Test (PST) / Physical Efficiency Test (PET): ESM candidates are exempt from PET but must undergo PST for height and chest measurement.
  3. Medical Examination: Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and Review Medical Examination (RME) will be conducted to ensure candidates meet the required physical fitness standards.

  • Height:
    • Male: 170 cm (Relaxations applicable for certain categories)
    • Female: 157 cm
  • Chest (for Male candidates only):
    • Unexpanded: 80 cm, with a minimum expansion of 5 cm.

  • Candidates must fill out the application form carefully, upload necessary documents, and pay the application fee (if applicable). Ex-Servicemen are exempt from paying the application fee.

  1. Exam Structure:

The Computer-Based Examination (CBE) consists of the following sections:

  1. Key Points for Ex-Servicemen:
  • ESM candidates already employed in government jobs after availing of ESM benefits for their first job are not eligible for ESM reservation but can apply as general candidates.
  • Relevant documents, including the discharge book, will be required at the time of document verification and medical examination.

Admit cards for each stage will be available online on the SSC and CRPF websites. No admit card will be sent by post. Regularly check the official websites for updates on the examination process.
