- Pay Scale:
- Sepoy in NCB: Pay Level-1 (₹18,000 – ₹56,900)
- All other posts (Constable, Rifleman): Pay Level-3 (₹21,700 – ₹69,100)
- Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th) from a recognized board by 01 January 2025.
- Age Limit: 18 to 23 years as of 01 January 2025 (Born between 02 January 2002 and 01 January 2007). ESM candidates receive 3 years of age relaxation beyond the upper age limit, after deducting the military service rendered.
- Selection Process:
The recruitment process involves multiple stages:
- Computer-Based Examination (CBE): Objective-type paper with multiple-choice questions.
- Physical Standard Test (PST) / Physical Efficiency Test (PET): ESM candidates are exempt from PET but must undergo PST for height and chest measurement.
- Medical Examination: Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and Review Medical Examination (RME) will be conducted to ensure candidates meet the required physical fitness standards.
