What is Form-16?
Form 16 / 16 A is a certificate of TDS (Tax Deduction At Source) , It is given to the soldier annually by the military department. The soldier can use this to determine the amount of money that was withheld as taxes by the army during the preceding fiscal year. In such a scenario, the soldier can file an income tax return to recover the money that was withheld if he is not in the most recent income tax bracket.
