Some Soldiers are complain that their Basic Pay is less than that of soldiers who have been enrolled at the same level as them or even their juniors. This is because those Soldiers whose promotion or MACP was given after 1 January 2016 have not signed their Option Certificate and sent it along with Part-II order and have not selected any option.

- Here below you will see the option of “Pay Calculator“, click on it.
- After this a new page will open in front of you where you have to input some parameters, which are as follows-
- Select the Pay Level you were in before promotion or MACP
- In the next column, select what your Basic Pay was before promotion or MACP
- After this, enter the date of your promotion or MACP in the next column
- In the next box you will be asked on which date your increment will be applicable and select it.
- After completing all this process, click on the option of “Submit“. After this, as soon as you scroll down, you will see that your basic PAY will be calculated and appear in front of you.
💡     Here, you should carefully examine your pay and write the date that offers you the most advantage (1st January or 1st July) in the Option Certificate and send it together with the Part-2 order.
